About Us
Study Advance Level (AL) from the comfort of your home with online tutor support that Global EduConnector offers. GEC is your online partner in education.
How GEC Works?
The Global EduConnector learning system is meticulously designed for all AL students. Our tutors have solid experience in providing courses for home-schooling students and preparing them for their examinations.
The courses balance online and offline studies with homework on out of classroom activities to be completed by every student. As part of the checks on balances, our tutors hold weekly and monthly tests to ensure all students are maintaining the correct standards expected.
Before examinations are taken, tutors prepare students for examinations by running three mock examinations. This ensures students are fully prepared for the kind of questions and answers expected to be given during their final examinations.
Students can study with GEC support platform from anywhere in the world.
GEC is aware that it is a very difficult decision for parents to commit to their children enrolling in AL home-based studies. Once parents take the decision to enrol their child for their selected subject, GEC takes responsibility for ensuring all students are comprehensively guided throughoutthe subject syllabus and system of learning. We strongly advise that parents approach the Student Relations Officer to request an appointment with the head of our academic team, who will advise the best approach and pathway to ensure exam success for your child.GEC also offer parents the ability to watch your child’s progress and witness class-room activities/lessons from your home.If a student is unable to attend any lesson, we offer students the ability to catch up by offering pre-recorded lessons from the general portal available for 7 days after the scheduled lesson given. Students must download the lesson before the end of the seventh day before the recording is deleted from our system. We also offer students a general portal, giving access to view past papers and study records/resources also.
GEC is a family-based education
GEC prefers to work with parents and firmly encourages parents to be at the centre of all decision making. Both students and parents receive support from the Student Relations Manager and our team of teachers to clear up any questions or receive corrective actions needed relating to ongoing studies.
Parents are encouraged to monitor their child’s progress and co-ordinate with our teaching support team to ensure they are well prepared for future examinations. If a student requires any additional support or has extra learning needs, our SRM will notify parents personally to discuss and implement an action plan in person or via zoom.If additional tutorials are required GEC can offer this service, but the charges are not included in the initial fees paid for the courses. However, we can arrange the extra lessons for a reasonable fee.Through strong collaboration between parents and GEC staff, we can ensure exam success.
Benefits of Private Education
A home study model has a much more relaxed atmosphere, placing less pressure on the student than a traditional model of schooling. GEC students do not have the formalities of uniforms, or the hassle of travelling to and from school or trying to fit in with other peer groups.Home study offers flexibility; meaning a student can access online lessons from anywhere in the world, a student can also study at their own pace, picking up their lessons at a time that suits their learning style. Some students study more effectively in the mornings, some prefer noon or at night, they can select a time when they are most productive.Being free from following a strict school timetable and structured subjects offered for the academic year, GEC students are free to specialise in subjects they perform excel in.
